What are roms? What is an emulator?
A ROM image, or simply ROM, is a computer file which contains a copy of the data from a read-only memory chip, often from a video game cartridge. On our roms page, we have complete collections of classic video game roms.
An emulator duplicates the functions of a system using a different system, so that the second system behaves like (and appears to be) the first system. This focus on exact reproduction of external behavior is in contrast to some other forms of computer simulation, which can concern an abstract model of the system being simulated.
Here, we offer a slew of emulators from classic gaming consoles.

Free Stuff was founded in April, 2010, under the name Rom Collector. We served rom files for download. In July, 2010 our name was changed to the current name.
